Te Tiriti o Waitangi is not a historical artefact or a compliance checkbox. It is a living framework for how we relate, make decisions, and share power in Aotearoa today. At Wolfgramm Holdings, our Te Tiriti Workshop is designed to move organisations beyond surface-level understanding into relational competence and confident leadership.

This workshop reframes Te Tiriti through three lenses: partnership, protection, and participation. Participants explore the intent of Te Tiriti, the differences between Te Tiriti and the English Treaty, and how these differences continue to shape systems, outcomes, and trust today. Importantly, we do not teach Te Tiriti in isolation from people’s roles. We anchor learning directly to governance, leadership, policy, operations, and everyday workplace decisions.

What sets this workshop apart is its delivery style. Learning is grounded in kōrero, storytelling, and lived experience. We create space for honest dialogue, curiosity, and respectful challenge. Participants are encouraged to ask difficult questions, confront assumptions, and build the confidence to engage meaningfully with Māori communities without fear of “getting it wrong.”
